400 Plus

The guy who works at the garage where I take my car when it's broken is a nice guy. I can never remember his name (Bill? John?) because every time he calls me and says, "This is ________ from Warren Tire..." my mind always shifts to: don't be too much, don't be too much -- and so I miss his name. Still, he's a good guy and has given me a break on things and offered alternatives and whatnot. I have been taking my car to him for years after being screwed over by the last place that I was going to, so we have developed a rapport and I trust him.

Anyway, I left my car at the garage last night because the muffler is falling off. First thing this morning (about 10 minutes after I finally stopped hitting the snooze button and rolled out of bed), he called. Again, I missed his name as I braced for "how much." 400 plus. I need new tires in the front. I knew I was going to need new tires and an alignment. My car seems to lose it's alignment easily. I could see the wear on my tires about a month ago and prayed that nothing else would go wrong so that I wouldn't have to bring it in and have a professional recommend new tires. I knew I needed them without the professional recommendation.

Now, I'm left wondering how I am going to pay for it since my bank put a hold on my credit card (not because of me!!) because their was a "potential security breach" and they sending me a new one, which I don't have yet.

This past Thursday was open mic and I interviewed Drew Jacobs for Inside the Open Mic. The interview went well and because Drew is a funny guy, we had a nice comedic exchange to put at the end of the video.

I played Endless and Jessie.

Before open mic, Stephanie bought my valentine's day present, which is a USB condenser microphone with recording software. I don't get it until this weekend, but I'm sick right now anyway so I can't do much recording with it. I'm looking forward, however, to doing some updated versions of my old songs and some new ones. Finally.
